Two is better than one
I started playing with collages when I was a child. Creating new images by mixing and matching them, and giving them a new meaning has always fascinated me. It is always such a joy to find images that in one way or another fit together.
I read once that if we have a photo that looks ok but doesn't have enough visual, emotional, or conceptual power to stand on its own, it's a great idea to consider diptyching it with another photo.
